Turn on automatic protection

On iOS 26 or later:

  1. Open the Messages app.
  2. Tap the Filters button at the top right.
  3. Tap Manage Filtering, then Text Message Filter.
  4. Turn on Text Message Filter and NoScams.

On iOS 17 or 18, go to Settings, then Apps, then Messages, then Unknown & Spam, and choose NoScams under SMS Filtering.

Scam texts will appear under Junk in the Messages app's filters.

Check a message

Press and hold a message, tap Copy, then open NoScams and tap Paste. You can also check a screenshot, an email, or a link, or share one to NoScams from another app. Checks are free.

A real message went to Junk

Open NoScams, go to Settings, then Trusted senders, and add the sender so it's never filtered again. Then email us what happened, with personal details removed, so we can fix the pattern for everyone. We treat these reports as the top priority.

A scam got through

Paste it into NoScams, check it, and tap Report this message. Personal details are removed on your phone before the email opens, and you decide whether to send it. Reports help us catch the next wave faster.

Why isn't a text being filtered?

Subscriptions and refunds

Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com. To use your purchase on a new phone, open NoScams and tap Restore purchases.

Family Sharing

Paid plans can cover up to six people. Turn on Family Sharing for purchases in your iPhone's Settings, then install NoScams on each family member's iPhone and turn on the filter there.
